The college search so far...
Maybe I'm oversearching things a bit. Maybe I should narrow down my choices. Maybe I'm crazy. But, by my estimate, I've applied to around 20+ schools. Most of which, require an ACT or an SAT to get in, something I haven't taken yet, and won't until September. So, that kind of limits for me. Oh well, 2 more months until I can take it. Until then, here's a list of the schools I've applied to so far
University of Florida
Arizona State University
Cal State Los Angeles
University of Texas at El Paso
Carson-Newman College
University of Tennessee
Ohio State University
Dartmouth College(long shot, I know)
University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill
Cal State Fullerton
University of Texas - Austin
University of Oklahoma
East Tennessee State University
That's off the top of my head at this point. There's sure to be more, but that all for now folks...

United States win the Junior American Football WC
Yes, there's a Junior World Cup for football(yes, the American kind). Matter of fact, there's an actual World Cup. As of today, the Americans are the defending world champs at both.
They won the Junior World Cup(basically, the high school ages) today, by beating Canada 41-3. Canada's U-19 team is actually not that bad, but we're so much better at it(obviously).
The thing is, this isn't even the biggest annihilation for the US team. In the first round, the American team beat France 78-0, following that up with a 55-0 destruction of another good U-19 team, Mexico. And, as previously mentioned, they won the whole damn thing today in Canton, OH, by beating Canada 41-3.

Team USA's Brian Fields (8) runs the ball in between a pair of Canadian defenders in the JWC Gold Medal Game on Sunday.

RIP Steve McNair

Steve McNair, a great football player, and just a great human being. Rest in Peace, and may God be with you, Steve. Air McNair was one of the reasons I became a Titans fan, and one of the reasons I love football.

Welcome to my blog
Well, this is my second attempt at blogging. Thought instead of my HS football blog, I'd do more general observations and other happenings in my life.
Me = 18 year old kid from Knoxville, TN, trying to get into the University of Florida, or move out to LA and transfer to USC or UCLA as a sophomore. Love movies, football(obviously), and very funny things.
Oh, and I'd be remissed if I didn't give a shout out to our troops overseas, fighting for our freedom.
Happy Independence Day to all out there. And Go Vols!
